EPA Makes Available Revised NESHAPThe EPA made available it's final word on the revised NESHAP governing the use of perc in drycleaning facilities nationwide. Click here to download. In summary, drycleaners in apartment buildings (co-residential perc cleaners) will have until 2020 to continue to use perc, and any new installations of perc equipment in apartment buildings will be prohibited. Furthermore, the EPA expressed possible concern about perc drycleaners in commercial settings located next door to child care centers and other sensitive receptors. Clean '07 - Change of Venue The Clean Show, the world’s largest for the textile care industry, has changed its venue from New Orleans to Las Vegas in 2007. The new dates for the show are June 11-14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The two companies are joining to form a new company, FUT-Satec USA GmbH. The new company, located in Herten, Germany, will manufacture many industrial products including commercial drycleaning machines.
